This was unique in the early 1900s, and resulted in an extraordinary output of designs drawing from movements like Arts \u0026amp; Crafts, Art Nouveau, traditional folk art. Their work subsequently influenced the flowering patterns of Art Deco style. The Workshop had specially designed facilities for textiles, leatherwork, furniture, jewelry, ceramics, and a print \u0026amp; paint shop. Although founded by men, there were more than 180 women artists who were an influential part of its history.
